As we enter December, the final month of the year, it’s a time for deep reflection, thanksgiving, and earnest prayers. December symbolizes completion, and as members of the body of Christ, we are reminded that God, who began a good work in us, will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Let these prayer points guide your heart as you seek the Lord fervently this season.

1. Thanksgiving for God’s Faithfulness

  • Scripture: “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 107:1)

    Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness throughout this year. Despite the challenges, You have been my strength and shield. Thank You for the victories, provision, protection, and even the lessons through trials. Lord, I lift my voice in gratitude, acknowledging that every good thing in my life has come from You.     Lord, I ask for the grace to finish this year strong. Renew my strength, O God, and give me the wisdom and perseverance to complete every task You have placed before me.   • Prayer:
    Jehovah Jireh, I come before You, trusting in Your unfailing provision. As I step into this last month, let the heavens be open over my life. Provide for every need, both spiritual and physical.     Lord, I thank You for the victory You have given me over every challenge this year. I commit December into Your hands and declare that no obstacle shall overcome me.
