You are worthy to be praised
Almighty God; You are worthy to be praised. King of kings, Lord of lords, the Unchangeable Changer; You are worthy to be praised. Lord of hosts; You are worthy to be praised. We can never thank You enough for the victories You have given to us. Thank You Lord, God Almighty for keeping the pandemic at check because we believe Lord, God Almighty but for You, the damage would have been much more. And we trust You, Lord, God Almighty that even as You have shown mercy to us here in Nigeria for example, You will also show mercy to the rest of the world, Father, please, accept our worship in Jesus’ name. Lord, even as we continue with our studies about the wonders of You the Almighty God, we pray that today again, You will perform wonders in the lives of Your children that all those who are listening to Your word today will have a very special contact with You that will lead them to something far greater, thank You Almighty God, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

THE MESSAGE
TEXT – ISAIAH CHAPTER 41
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even those that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
In the first part, we learnt that the first contact between God, the Almighty, the All-Sufficient, the All-wise and All-knowing God primarily could activate the destiny of a man.
CONTACT BETWEEN GOD AND MAN.
1. The first contact activates destiny.
2. The second contact usually leads to promotion
3. The third contact will lead to perfection.
THE SECOND CONTACT WITH GOD.
We are fully aware that God is the promoter.
He can promote the most unlikely person.
1 Samuel 2:8

OUR GOD IS PERFECT.
James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
Mark 7:32-37 He does everything well.
What happens when there is a second contact between God and man?
EXAMPLES OF SECOND CONTACT BETWEEN GOD AND MAN.
1. JOSHUA.
Joshua had his first direct encounter with God when Moses laid hand on him
In Joshua 1:1-8, He had the second contact after the death of Moses; God transferred a messenger to a leader of a nation.
2. DAVID.
He had his first encounter with God when God poured oil on his head through Samuel and he became king among his brethren.
He had his second contact with God in 2 Samuel 2:4.
He was anointed again as king of Judah.
The second contact made him the king of Judah.
3.ELISHA.
He had his first encounter with God when he was ploughing the field and the mantle fell on him.
In 2 Kings 2:9-15, the mantle dropped while Elijah was being taken, he picked the mantle and became father of all the prophets.
The second contact moved him from son of the prophet to the father of all prophets.
4. PETER.
His first contact with God came in Luke 5:1-11 and his destiny became activated to become a fisher of men.
He had his second divine encounter in John 21:1-17 to feed the flock of God and lead the people.
WHY THE SECOND TOUCH?
There are advantages in being on top and disadvantages in being beneath.
PRAYER:
Your promotion begins right now.
In 2 Samuel 24:1-15, David conducted a census against the wish of God, God got angry and told him to choose a type of punishment he wanted and he chose to fall into the hands of God. A terrible pestilence broke out, seventy thousand people died in the land as a result of the punishment but no one died in the palace.
It is not a pleasant thing to be at the bottom, that is why the Almighty God said, “you shall be the head and not the tail”.
Exodus 4:1-4 Even a dangerous serpent can be held by the tail but not the head.
PRAYER:
You shall be head and you will never be tail.
WE NEED A SECOND TOUCH.
We all need a second touch so we can be promoted.
There is always room at the top.
Daniel 6:1-3
The Almighty God can make you the best among the best. THE WONDERS OF DIVINE ENCOUNTER By PASTOR E.A. ADEBOYE
PRAYERS:
i. May you be the best among the best in Jesus’ name.
ii. If the Almighty God is looking for the best among the best, may you be the one He will pick.
THE THIRD TOUCH.
The third touch is for perfection.
Perfection is a wonderful thing.
In Mark 3:1-5, Jesus healed a man with a withered hand.
In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus opened the eyes of a blind man.
PRAYER:
I pray for all of you listening to me in any form of ailment, may your healing come today and may it come perfectly.
Healing is good but recreation is better because recreation will give you perfect health.
For example, in 2 Kings 5:1-14, when the Almighty God healed Naaman, the Bible said he came out of the river the seventh time with his skin like that of a newborn baby, that is perfection.
In Exodus 14:1-28, Israel had been freed from the bondage of Egypt, they got to the Red Sea and looked back and saw the Egyptians. Their deliverance was not complete until all those who could bring them back into captivity were drowned, It is only then they can now say “glory be to God, we are free indeed.”
In Mark 5:2-19 The madman of Garderene became completely free when all the demons that were tormenting him were drowned with the swine. THE WONDERS OF DIVINE ENCOUNTER By PASTOR E.A. ADEBOYE
PRAYER:
I pray for all of you listening to me today, if there is any evil force (s) still showing interest in you, today will be their total destruction.
Perfection is essential that is why you need the third touch.
EXAMPLES OF THIRD CONTACT WITH GOD.
1.MOSES.
His first contact activated his destiny. Exodus 3:1-3.
His second contact was in a thick cloud.
In Exodus 19:1-9, God told him “I am visiting you this second time so that from now on, the people will believe you forever, they won’t doubt you anymore, you are promoted.”
In Exodus 33:10-1,1 The people saw the cloudy pillar but the Lord speaks to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend, that is promotion.
In Exodus 33:18-23, Moses saw the glory of God.
In Exodus 34:29-35, the face of Moses shone after his encounter with God.
THE RESULT OF THE THIRD ENCOUNTER.
Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Surely you need the second touch for promotion and the third touch for perfection.
2.ELISHA.
He had his first contact in 1 Kings 19:19-21 that activated his destiny.
He had his second contact in 2 Kings 2:9-15 when he owned the mantle and became the ruler of all the prophets.
He had his third contact in 2 Kings 3:10-15 and became perfect.
In 2 Kings 2:23-24, he cursed some children in the name of the Lord and several children died that day.
After his third encounter, In 2 Kings 6:8-23, he fed his arresters.
3. PETER.
The first contact came in Luke 5:1-11 when he was fishing.
His second contact came in John 5:1-17, when he was promoted from being a fisher of men to the leader of the flock.
His third contact came in Acts 2:1-41 and he became unstoppable when the Holy Spirit came on him on the day of Pentecost.

CAN I ATTAIN PERFECTION?
Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me.
Perfection is meant for you, all you need to do is ask.
John 16:24 Ask till your joy is full.
ALTAR CALL
If you want to say bye-bye to a life of sin, He is more than ready to receive you, save your soul and give you a brand new beginning.
Bow your head in prayer and cry to the Almighty God for the salvation of your soul: “Ask Him to be merciful unto you and please save your soul. Promise to serve Him and do His will for the rest of your life.”
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
My Father and my God, I want to thank You once again for Your word and I want to thank You for those who have heard and have decided “i want this contact with God”. You promised Lord that whoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out, they have come to You now Father, please, receive them, save their souls, let Your blood wash their sins, write their names in the Book of life, give them a brand new beginning and let this be the beginning of contact with You for them.
CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I’m aso committing those of us who have had contact with You in the past, we want a second contact, some of us want a third one and some of us even want more than three, as we cry to You today Lord, God Almighty, please, grant our requests, promote us Oh Lord, bring us to perfection and we will praise You for the rest of our lives, thank You my Father, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
