BIBLE TEXT: Esther 7:1-10
[1]So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.
[2]And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
[3]Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:
[4]For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
[5]Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
[6]And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
[7]And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
[8]Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
[9]And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
[10]So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

MEMORY VERSE: My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king which is against the law: and if I perish, I perish! Esther 4:14-16b
LESSON AIM: At the end of this study, teens should know about the maximal use of God’s blessings for the nations.
CENTRAL TRUTH: God can use you for the deliverance of your nation.
INTRODUCTION: As children of God, we must always be mindful of the fact that we must be His ambassador anywhere we find ourselves.
Esther realized God’s purpose for making her a queen. For the deliverance of her nation. God knew that someday; someone will attempt to wipe out the Israelites. He that knows the end from the beginning made a plan ahead to put Esther in the palace. Thank God, Esther did not disappoint God. Same thing Joseph was sent ahead of the children of Israel to Egypt.

HOW TO BE A BLESSING TO MY NATION:

RCCG JUNIOR ZEAL FOR 2021/2022 AGE 13-19 TEACHER’S MANUAL SUNDAY 5TH June OF LESSON FOURTY (40)
1. Pravers: for the land, the leaders and the inhabitants. The best way for us to battle for our nation is on our knees. And the best source to turn to is not the news or social media, but the very Word of God. James 5:16; 2 Chronicles 7:14
2. Be loyal, honest and faithful. If you are asked to come and serve your nation. Will your first thought be how much money you will get or how many people will be blessed through your involvement.
3. Speak well about your nation. Proverbs 11:11
4. Stand for the truth and defend your nation. Joshua 8
LIFE APPLICATION – Affirm God word over your life. I am who God says I am, I can do what God says I can do. I am a channel of God’s blessing to my generation. I am a light and a city set on a hill. Kings shall come to my rising and my generation shall be lighted with the great light of God inside of me.

CONCLUSION: You too can be used of the Lord to deliver your nation. Are you willing and available? God is able to make us a blessing to nations as He said in His Word. Believe His Word and it shall come to pass.
