And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28
FULL MESSAGE: The past is a place that can prevent you from having new experiences of good things. This
is why the Bible says in Isaiah 43:18
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
You may have made mistakes in the past but God can turn them into favour. In todays Bible reading, when the Church heard that their greatest persecutor, Saul had been converted to Paul and had begun propagating the gospel, they were surprised and filled with joy. How wonderful it would be if terrorists would encounter Jesus, surrender their weapons and ammunition openly, then begin to hold crusades in different nations of the world. This was exactly the situation in Pauls time. It was his reputation that made people listen to him. They must have wondered how God could save a wicked man as he, causing many to surrender their lives to Christ too. You dont have to stay in the pool of past mistakes or failures, come to Jesus today and surrender all to Him. He will turn your shame to glory and your mess into a message.
ACTION Point: Father, please turn every unpleasantness in my life into favour

Hymns: O GOD OUR HELP IN AGES PAST
1. O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
our shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal home;
2. Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure.
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
and our defence is sure.
3. Before the hills in order stood,
or earth received her frame,
from everlasting Thou art God,
to endless years the same.
4. A thousand ages in Thy sight
are like an evening gone,
short as the watch that ends the
night
before the rising sun.
5. Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
bears all its sons away.
They fly forgotten, as a dream
dies at the opening day.
6. O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
be Thou our guard while troubles last,
and our eternal home.
