SEEDS OF DESTINY SCRIPTURE: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Jude 20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One potent way of praying effectively is praying in the Holy Spirit.

It has been established that one potent way of praying effectively is praying in the Holy Spirit. According to our anchor Scripture, when you pray in the Holy Spirit, you build yourself in the most holy faith.

In our study today, we shall be seeing two key thoughts on praying in the Holy Spirit:

1. When you are confronted with what you do not understand, pray in the language that you do not understand (Rom. 8:26)

That is mystery versus mystery. If there are mysterious things happening around your life, family, business, job, for example, that you do not understand, you can declare a fast, and pray in the language you do not understand. When you get tired, rest. And when you finish resting, continue praying in the Spirit. When mystery jams mystery, the lesser mystery must bow.

So, when you are confronted with what you do not understand, pray in the language that you do not understand.

2. Your tongue can establish your turn

If you want your life to turn, so that it would become your turn for good, speaking in tongues makes it your turn.

Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! James 3:4-5.

As a big ship is controlled by the helm, even so God has given man the tongue with which he can turn the situations of life. So, when you speak aggressively in tongues, you activate spiritual forces for your world to turn; situations are turned, and it can become your turn.

Remember this: One potent way of praying effectively is praying in the Holy Spirit.

1. Make up your mind to pray in the Spirit always.

2. Pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to enable you pray more in the Spirit.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to pray in the Spirit always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
