TOPIC: INFIDELITY.
TEXT: PROVERBS 6:32-35.
32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman is out of his mind; by doing so he corrupts his own soul.
33 He will receive a beating and dishonor, and his shame won’t disappear,
34 because jealousy incites a strong man’s rage, and he will show no mercy when it’s time for revenge. [Pro 5:9]
35 He will not consider any payment, nor will he be willing to accept it, no matter how large the bribe.

TOPIC: INFIDELITY. MESSAGE:

Adultery is a sin against God. It is injurious to all who commit it. Many who engage in or practice it have been plagued with diseases of the body and soul. The temptation to commit adultery may indeed be great but a wise man refrains because it violates another. The text describes anyone who engages in it as foolish and senseless. It is indeed foolishness because it injures the offended and the offender. It is indeed disgrace, fear and contention. It attracts unavoidable punishment and no payment suffices or satisfies the offended. The reproach and stigma of infidelity lasts much longer than envisaged. It destroys your reputation, soul and sometimes your life. Are you guilty of? Repent!
REFLECTION: God detests infidelity.

PRAYER:

Lord, help me to run away from infidelity. Amen.
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH: ISAIAH 35:8.
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
TODAY’S BIBLE READING PLAN: 2 KINGS 17-19.
