BIBLE TEXT: 2 Corinthians 4:8-18

8. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14. Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

LESSON INTRODUCTION: Strategy is any plan of action intended to accomplish a specific goal. Applied to lockdown situation, there must be an international plan of action even through you are in a lockdown to survive and overcome the situation. The ultimate for any one in a lockdown situation is to get out or be free from the situation; As Christans, lockdown situation should not take us by surprise or weigh us down, we must understand that Jesus said that in this world we shall face tribulations but he concluded be giving us a hint about the strategies to get out of lockdown, Jesus said “BE COURAGEOUS” or take courage because ALREADY He has conquered the world.
TEXT REVIEW: 1 Corinthians 4:8-18
i. As a believer, you can be persecuted but not forsaken by God.
ii. We need to be courageous in all situations.
LESSON OUTLINES:

UNDERSTANDING LOCKDOWN

1. A lockdown is just a transition phase of life and cannot be permanent.
2. Have a good knowledge of the lockdown by the reason of the Holy Spirit get God’s interpretation.
3. Be courageous and remain focused on your Good Vision.
4. Be careful with the people and information around you and make good decision.
5. God Almighty has control
over every area of your life, be connected to Him. He has the best strategy.
ACTIVITY: Discuss why so man’s hearts became weary during the lockdown?
SUMMARY: Lockdown should not be a burden to us as believers.

CONCLUSION: Every lockdown situation is going to end one day, in the meantime, this is a time to further think, study and understand the situation so as to overcome it through different strategies. Of all these strategies, God’s strategy to lead you out of the lockdown is the best.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Thank God and praise Him for the past strategies adopted by Him to overcome lockdown situations in your life, marriage, business and ministry.
2. Father arise and proffer permanent solution to our lockdown situations
3. Lord arise against every storm in all our house fellowship centers and churches in RCCG
4.Father, please protect Daddy G.O and his entire family against any lockdown situation
5. Father, please do not let this lock down swallow me, my family, business and ministry in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

GOLDEN DIET FOR THE WEEK:

MONDAY: Choose wisdom over foolishness in a lockdown; choose to obey God. 1Samuel 15:1-35
TUESDAY: Take a decision on your given vision; remain focused on overcoming your lockdown. Deut 30:19-20.
WEDNESDAY: Finding God’s will (strategy) for a lockdown requires obedience, pray for the spirit of obedience today.
THURSDAY: Lockdown is sometimes is to correct us; pray for the grace to repent from every weight, and the sin which is easily beset us. Hebrews 12:5-11
FRIDAY: Making good decision is not important; Jesus prayed to make it. Luke 12:5-11
SATURDAY: Avoid what will compound your lockdown. Matt. 7:1-6
SUNDAY: Listen to criticism (constructive). Psalm 141:5
