INTRODUCTION:

Have you ever seen a father and son who look so much alike that people “it is easy to see he is that man’s son!? when people look at your life, do they say “this boy or girl is a child of God?” They may, if you are at peace with others, and you are a peace maker.
PROGRESSION OF EVENTS:
A. The memory verse says you should live peaceably with all men. Our lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace so as a child of God, your life must be like that of your father. So to be
peaceful, or be at peace with others is an evidence of whose child you are.
B. In Matthew 5:9 Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God”
Who is a Peacemaker?
A peacemaker is someone who maintains peace between people who are enemies. Matthew 5:47 says “If you salute(greet) only your brethren, what more are you doing than others?
Hebrew 14:12 says “live in peace with all men and be Holy” and be Holy” that is to say you should not hold grudge with any one because
bitterness can take the place of peace and render you unholy.
C. Matthew 5:9b Jesus said “for they shall be called the sons of God”. The people who are sons of God have the character of their heavenly father.
God sent Jesus Christ to the world to reconcile the world to him. Not counting our trespasses against us. He sent Jesus his only begotten
son John 3:16a. He loves you and me so much that he gave His precious blood on the cross so that we can have our sins forgiven. Jesus made peace by His blood on the cross. It’s now left for you to make a decision that you want to be safe from the punishment of your sin by personally trusting in the lord Jesus to save you.
Ephesians 1:7 says “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins”. He willingly suffered and died then he came alive again. Jesus Christ’s death is God’s way of making peace and reconciling with the world.
D. Peace is one of the fruits of the spirit Galatians 5:21-22, those who bear the fruit of peace are sons of God. God wants you as a child of His to be at peace with people around you and to be a peacemaker by praying for your enemies, and seeking to make friends with them. As we learn in today’s memory
verse Romans 12:18 “If possible, so far as it depends upon you live peaceably with all men.
CLIMAX: Being at peace with God and others will bring you great happiness James 3:17-18
CONCLUSION: The true mark of the sons of God is their longing to make peace with their enemies. Peacemakers have the character of their Heavenly Father because He is the God of peace. Romans 16:20.
CHALLENGE: If Jesus is in you. God wants you to make peace, work for peace and sacrifice for peace because what gives a clear mark of the sons of God are those who seek to make peace. Make it a point of duty to always live at peace with your friends and all. Hebrews 12:14
INVITATION: You cannot be a peacemaker until you become the son of God. Believe in Jesus today John 1:12.
LESSON FORTY ONE (41)

TOPIC: BE A SOUL WINNER

BIBLE TEXT: Mark 16:15-18, Matthew 28.18-20. Corinthians 3:1-6
MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto nations and then shall come the end come.
LESSON AIM: The saved child will witness
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: If you are child of God, God wants you win souls.
INTRODUCTION: To be a soul winner is to tell others about Jesus. It is to witness about what Jesus did for man. I just won a prize! If this give
you excitement, won’t you tell others? You will surely want to tell others your good news. If you believed in the Lord Jesus as your Saviour from sin, then you have the best good news ever! God wants you to tell that good news to others. Be a soul winner!
PROGRESSION OF EVENTS:
A. Who is a witness?
A witness tells others what he/she knows and experienced about Jesus Christ and what it means to personally trust in Him.
B. Why witness?
You should witness because many people are lost in sin, they do not know about the wonderful things Christ did for them. God wants the good news about the kingdom to be preached throughout the whole world. It is God’s commandment for you and I to tell everyone about the Good News.
C. Who can be a soul winner?
Those who are saved. You must have accepted and trusted in Jesus to save you before you can be witness for Jesus Acts 16:31. You cannot tell others to believe in Jesus and be saved
from the consequences of their sin, if you have not done so.
D. How can you witness? As a witness of Christ, your life is a key part of your soul winning. You are a new creature: you should show others that you have been saved from sin. Matthew 5:16. Have you heard the Good news? The Good
news is that God loved the world so much, the people living in the darkness of sin; do you know what sin is? It is wanting to do wrong things. Sin separates you from God who created and loved you, because God is Holy and He will punish sin. Rom 6:23. God does not want you to be punished, so He gave Jesus Christ His sinless son to come and take away our punishment by dying on the cross. Colossians 1:14. Jesus died, He was buried, but came back to life again. He wants you to turn away from your sins by believing in Him as your
Saviour.
E. Jesus gave a commandment to you and I in Mark 16:15 “Go into the world and preach the gospel to all creatures”. If you have been saved you are not to keep it to yourself, you are saved, so that you can tell others. Every child of God is saved to witness to others. Whosoever believe and is baptized will be saved, whosoever does not believe will be condemned. vs. 16.
CLIMAX: Signs shall follow those that believe vs.17-18.
CONCLUSION: All power and authorities has been given to Jesus. Matthew 28:18-20
CHALLENGE: As a child of God, you have received a commandment to go and win souls. Start from your family, neighborhood, town, village and anywhere you go. Keep busy
winning souls, time is short and souls are perishing.
INVITATION: Be saved to save others, believe in Jesus as your Saviour and then you can tell others too. Acts 16:31
LESSON FORTY-TWO (42)

TOPIC: FELLOWSHIP WITH OTHER BRETHREN

BIBLE TEXT: ACTS 2:41-47, 5:12-15
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
LESSON AIM: The saved child will fellowship with others.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: God wants you to fellowship with others.
INTRODUCTION: What is fellowship?
Fellowship is an expression of companionship, communion, between fellows that have something in common. The christians shortly after the Pentecost in Acts demonstrated what true fellowship is.
PROGRESSION OF EVENTS:
A.As Apostle Peter just finished preaching the word of God, those who received the word and got baptized were added to the number of fellowship about 3000 souls Vs41.
Before this time when Jesus was still on earth, he told Peter and other disciples in Matthew 16:18 “and I say onto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.
B.They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. Vs 42-43
C.All the believers were together and had everything in common.
They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Vs 44-45
D.Every day they continued to meet together in the temple court they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. Vs 46
E.They praise God and enjoyed the faith of all the people and the Lord added to their number daily.
F.Acts 512 the Bible recorded That’s the apostles performed many signs and wonders amongst the people. and all the believers used to meet in solomon’s porch and they were highly regarded by the people. The believers were highly regarded by the people because God’s presence was clearly seen in them.
God is awesome and His power and presence with His children that have responded to his love is love. He made you and wants you to fellowship with him but sin separates you from him Isaiah 59:2.
By His love He gave you His son Jesus who died for your sins, so that you can be forgiven.
1st Corinthians 15:3-4. Because of what Jesus has done you can have your sins forgiven and become a believer who can join others in fellowship.
CLIMAX: More and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. Acts 5:14.
CONCLUSION: As a result, people brought the sick into the street and laid them on the beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow may fall on some of them as he passed by. Vs 15.
CHALLENGE: If you are a child of God, God wants you to always be in fellowship with other believers Psalm 55:14, Deuteronomy 31:12-13, Ezra10:1
When you come to church you build friendships with other children and learn more of God through Bible lessons, memory verse, songs, prayers and many more.
INVITATION: You can only become part of the believers’ fellowship by accepting Jesus as your Savior. Acts 16:31a.
LESSON FORTY-THREE (43)

TOPIC: FORGIVENESS

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 18:21-34
MEMORY VERSE: Ephesians 4:22. “and be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you”.
LESSON AIM: Faults are inevitable.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: When you forgive your neighbors God will forgive you also.
INTRODUCTION: Forgiveness is giving up an unfriendly feeling toward someone who has offended you. Our memory verse says “be kind….. forgive”. God says in Hebrew 8:12 “for I will be merciful to their own righteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more”. As a child of God, you must also forgive others as you are forgiven.
PROGRESSION OF EVENTS:
A.Romans 12:21 says “be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good” Matthew 6:12.
B.Matthew 18:15 the Bible tells us that if your brother or friends you go and settle him so that you can gain him back instead of having resentment, hatred, and bitterness. The word of God taught us how to make peace with those that offend us.
Un-forgiveness is a sin. Romans 3:23 says “for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God loves you and gave Jesus Christ to die for the forgiveness of sin John 3:16. Jesus came to the earth, he died by giving his blood for the washing away of our sins, he was buried and on the third day, he rose from the grave. Heb 9:22b.
C.In Matthew 18, Peter comes to Jesus and asked, “Lord how many times should I forgive my brother when he offends me 7 times?” Jesus answered him to forgive his brother 70 times 7 times (70X7).
D.Jesus told his disciples a story of a king wanting to settle his account with his servant demanding the payment of his money by his debtor vs 23-24.
He wanted to sell the debtors properties as he could not pay but the debtor pleaded, and the king forgave him vs 26-27.
But the forgiving servant refused to forgive his fellow servant that owed him just a little money and had him thrown in the prison vs 27-30.
When the king heard what he did, he had him arrested and he was jailed for life.
E.You are to forgive others as
i.You remember God’s forgiveness.
ii.Don’t keep on thinking about offense.
iii.Do something nice for someone who has offended you.
CLIMAX: Do good to them that hate you Matt 5:44.
CONCLUSION: Ephesians 4:32 always remember that God says you should forgive others.
CHALLENGE: if Jesus is your savior, God wants you to always forgive others when they hurt you even if they do not apologize or tell you sorry.
Tell those that offend you: –
i.I forgive you.
ii.Forget that it ever happened.
INVITATION: you cannot stop resentment, hey Chad, grudges and bitterness do you become a child of God. And you can only become by asking Jesus to be your savior from sin. Romans 10:13.
LESSON FORTY-FOUR (44)

TOPIC: BUILD GODLY RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS

BIBLE TEXT: James 2:1-9
MEMORY VERSE: 1st Thessalonia 3:12. “and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love 1 towards another and towards all men, even as we do towards you”.
LESSON AIM: God wants you to build godly relationships with others.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: A child of God will practice true Christian love anyway he/she is.
INTRODUCTION: God the Father Himself is a God of love, without him there would be no love in the world. He has a universal love that flows to everyone good and bad. Jesus said you should be like your father in heaven. “He causes His sun to rise on the good and the evil and sends rain on the righteous and unrighteous”. He loves unconditionally and expects you and I to act the same. Romans 13
PROGRESSION OF EVENTS:
A. The ingredient of building a godly relationship with others is love. What kind of love? God has showed us exactly the kind of love we should have for one another. The love that does his neighbor no harm. Romans 13:8-10, God our Father Himself is love and he wants you and I to love unconditionally. We are told that love is a continual debt that we owe people around us. It should never stop.
B. It is only members of God’s family that can build godly relationships with others. In our memory verse you are told that God will make you increase and abound in love one towards another.
C.Why should you build godly relationship with others?
God commands us to do it in 1 John 4:21. “And this commandment have we from him that he who loves God should love his brother also”. If when friends offend you or make you unhappy. E.g. spoil your toys or hit you, you are to still accept them and show love to them and not revenge or put them away.
By doing so you show them the love of God and thereby build godly relationships that they can also see the love of Christ in you.
Your godly relationship can bring others who are not members of God’s family to Christ. Sin keeps one out of God’s family. Sin is wanting your own way instead of God’s way. It is disobeying God from time to time because you are born with the nature of sin. But God loves you and He said in Jeremiah 31:3 that “I have loved you with an everlasting love.
You cannot save yourself from sin, so God sent his son, the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for your sin with His own blood Rev 1:5b. “to him who loves us and freed us from sin by his blood.” Jesus died on the cross, he was buried and on the third day he rose again. 1 Corinthians 5:3-4 by dying, He took the punishment you deserve for all the wrongs you have done. But when you admit you have sinned, believe Jesus died, and rose again for your sins to be forgiven and you call on Him. You will be saved, John 1:2.
CLIMAX: the love of God you have received who caused you to begin godly relationships with others. Rom13:8-10
CONCLUSION: because God has loved you with an everlasting love, Jeremiah 31:3, you must show this as you relate to others around you.
CHALLENGE: Come and share next week how many people you build godly relationships with during the week and how.
INVITATION: Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
LESSON FORTY-FIVE (45)

BIBLE TEXT: Acts 4:32-37
MEMORY VERSE: Luke 6:38a “Give and it shall be given unto you”.
LESSON AIM: The saved child will learn to give to the work of God.
CHILD RELATED TRUTH: God wants you to give to His work and His people.
A.What is mission?
mission is an organized effort to spread the gospel from one place to another. It involves sending individuals or group of individuals across boundaries to carry out in evangelism.
it is God’s total plan for the salvation of mankind. The Lord Jesus commands us to go and preach the gospel. Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20
B.To support mission means giving to the work of God for the purpose of winning souls and helping the needy and increasing the work of God on earth.
The areas of support are:-
-Giving – finance and material things like food, clothes.
-Going – being a missionary.
-Prayer – for missionaries and mission fields.
C.Giving means to hand over something to someone without looking for a reward in return. The early Christians in acts of apostle practice giving for God’s work and as a result.
i. There was no needy person amongst them.
ii.From time to time those who owned land and houses sold them and brought the money for the use of the church Acts 4:35.
iii.the believers sold their possessions and brought the money and it was distributed to anyone who had need amongst them. Acts 4:35
CLIMAX: Barnabas demonstrated giving to support missions, he sold his land and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet. Acts 4:36-37.

CONCLUSION: supporting missions is investing in the Kingdom for eternal reward.

CHALLENGE: Offerings, tithes, sowing to God’s work is normally collected for God’s work, our children are not left out in giving to support God’s work. If a child of God, God wants you to give willingly for his work. 2 Corinthians 9:6 says “whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
You can save as much money as you can and specially give as an offering unto God. You can prayerfully decide how you would like to give to God’s work. Churches and missions need your support. When you obey, God will bless you to give more. Philippians 4:19 (And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus)
INVITATION: God cannot accept anything from someone that is still a Sinner full stop for God to accept your offering, you must believe in his son Jesus Christ as your savior from sin. John 1:12 (But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [a]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
