1. Holy Ghost Congress

The Holy Ghost Congress is slated for December 9 to December 15, 2024. This spiritually enriching event will feature sermons, worship sessions, and prayer meetings, providing attendees with opportunities for spiritual renewal and empowerment.

 

2. Monthly Thanksgiving Service

 

On December 1, 2024, all RCCG churches will observe the Monthly Thanksgiving Service. This service is dedicated to expressing gratitude to God for His blessings and faithfulness throughout the year.

3. Holy Ghost Service

 

A special Holy Ghost Service is planned for December 6, 2024. This gathering will focus on deep worship and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, aiming to inspire and uplift participants.

4. Continental End-of-Year Prayer of Thanksgiving

5. Continental Let’s Go A Fishing

 

From December 20 to December 22, 2024, the “Let’s Go A Fishing” program will focus on evangelism and outreach, encouraging members to spread the gospel and engage with their communities.

 

6. Christmas Day and Boxing Day Services

 

RCCG churches worldwide will hold special services on December 25 (Christmas Day) and December 26 (Boxing Day) to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and foster communal fellowship.

 

7. Leadership Changes

 

In a significant organizational development, Pastor Joseph Obayemi, the National Overseer, has retired. Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer, announced this change during a ministers’ conference, indicating a strategic shift in leadership dynamics.

 

8. Community Engagement Initiatives

 

RCCG continues to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility. Notably, the church’s Lagos Province 44 donated waste bins to local councils and schools, aiming to promote environmental hygiene and community well-being.
