ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA ORDAINED 685 PASTORS 20th January 2023
The Assemblies of God Nigeria is a Christian denomination that is part of the larger Assemblies of God movement, which is a Pentecostal denomination that originated in the United States in the early 20th century. The Assemblies of God in Nigeria is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the country and has a strong presence in many parts of the country. They have a strong emphasis on the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the power of prayer. They also place a strong emphasis on the Bible as the inspired and inerrant word of God and believe in the triune nature of God. They believe in the importance of the local church and the autonomy of each local congregation. The Assemblies of God Nigeria is governed by a National Executive Council and oversees a wide range of activities, including ministry to children and youth, missions, and theological education.

The Assemblies of God Nigeria (AGN) is a Pentecostal Christian denomination in Nigeria. It is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the country, and has a significant presence in both urban and rural areas. The AGN is affiliated with the Assemblies of God USA and the World Assemblies of God Fellowship. The organization is known for its strong emphasis on Spirit-filled worship, healing, and evangelism. The AGN is governed by a General Council, which is made up of representatives from each of the denomination’s local churches. The General Superintendent serves as the head of the AGN and is elected by the General Council. The AGN also operates a number of educational institutions, including Bible colleges and theological seminaries, as well as a number of orphanages and hospitals. It is one of the most populous church in Nigeria.
