DIVINE CONNECTION
MEMORY VERSE: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (GENESIS 1:26)
TEXT: GENESIS 1:26-31
Ade tried to switch on his room light but the bulb would not come on. He was curious to find out why the light refused to come on. To his surprise, one of the wires was already loose. He called the attention of his parents, who called in the electrician to connect the loose wire. Immediately he finished, the light came on. A connection had been established.
When God created man in His image, there was divine connection, when sin came, there was a disconnection but when Jesus came, there was a reconnection. God made man in His own image to have the same power, authority and dominion that He had in an unlimited connection, but unfortunately, sin brought a universal disconnection. After the Lord Jesus came and died, mankind had the unique reconnection. This reconnection is only for the willing, the repentant and those who are wholeheartedly ready, it is for whosoever believes.
God’s plan for us at the beginning is to be connected with Him always so that we can enjoy all benefits that heaven provides. But Satan came in with sin, this has disconnected many children from God.
Are you still disconnected from God through your bad ways? Come to Jesus today and be reconnected, you will be able to hear from God, and you will be free and free indeed.
