TEXT: HEBREWS 10:23-25.

23. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
24. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
25. not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

TOPIC: LACK OF DESIRE FOR FELLOWSHIP.

MESSAGE:
When Christians congregate to worship, they encourage, strengthen and build one another up (Prov. 27:17). However, if anyone decides to be in isolation will lose out on the warmth and encouragement that comes from the brethren. Such a person will eventually become indifferent towards spiritual matters and harden his heart towards God and sin. Staying away from fellowship can remove you from under the cover of God as you slowly get disconnected from Him; thus making you vulnerable to satanic attacks.
Do you want to make spiritual progress?
Then do not neglect fellowship with other believers (cf. Acts 2:42).
REFLECTION:
No one grows in isolation.

PRAYER:

Father, stir my heart towards fellowship, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH: ISAIAH 35:8.
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
TODAY’S BIBLE READING PLAN: 2 KINGS 1-3.
