TOPIC: ADDICTION.

MESSAGE
Addiction is a state that is characterised by compulsive drug use or compulsive engagement in rewarding behaviour, despite negative consequences. Today’s text lists some categories of immoral practices that the wicked may be prone to. These include adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, theft, greed, drunkenness, slander and swindling. Those who practice such cannot have the peace of God and cannot live at peace with others. The Scripture makes it clear that they are exempted from the kingdom of God. Today, some people are addicted to pornography, drugs, social media and the likes.
Are you addicted to any of these sinful habits?
Come to Jesus, he will break the chains of addiction. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit who will give you his peace.

REFLECTION:

Christ breaks the chains of addiction.
PRAYER:
Father, help me to subdue the power of addiction, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH: JAMES 4:1
What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?.
TODAY’S BIBLE READING PLAN: 1 SAMUEL 3-5.
