ALL RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL  MANUAL FPR TODAY

[26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27]So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28]And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
MEMORY VERSE: 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
CENTRAL TRUTH:Our God is three in one.
INTRODUCTION: From the beginning of creation in Genesis to the end of times in Revelation, God refers to Himself as “us” or “our” and thus describes the doctrine of the Trinity. The word trinity comes from “tri” meaning three and “unity” meaning one. God is three distinct individuals – God the Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

STUDY GUIDE:

A. THE TRINITY REFERS TO THE:
1. Father – Galatians 1:1
2. Son – John 20:28
3. Holy Spirit – Acts 5:3-4
B. TRUTH ABOUT GOD THE TRINITY
1. One God and One Only
2. ……………………………….
3. Equal and Eternal
4. Worthy of equal praise and worship
5. ……………………………….
6. Constituting the one true God of the Bible
C. EVIDENCES OF TRINITY IN THE BIBLE
1. At creation – Genesis 1:1-2; Job 26:13; John 1:3
2. ………………………………. Matthew 3:16-17
3. Christian’s baptism – Matthew 28:19
4. ……………………………….. 1 Peter 1:2
5. Sanctification – 2 Corinthians 13:14
6. Prayer – Ephesians 3:14-21
7. Christian Growth – 2 Thess 2:13
LIFE APPLICATION: God is three-in-one and operates in different dimensions as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Though they are three, they are the same.
CONCLUSION: As believers we are to believe that the one God eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and that these three are one God, co-equal and co-eternal. Therefore, they are worthy of same worship, confidence and obedience.
