TOPIC: BE HIS DISCIPLE

MEMORY VERSE: John 1.43 “The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.”

BIBLE TEXT: Matthew 4:18-19
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

LESSON AIM: To let children know the need to become Jesus disciple.
CENTRAL TRUTH: Jesus Christ is looking for disciples.
INTRODUCTION: Training is the process by which a person is thought the skills that are needed for an art, profession or job. In today’s scripture, Christ did not just pick His disciples and sent them to work for Him, He said they should follow Him and He will make them fishers of men. Becoming a disciple of God means we would follow Him and trust in Him. Following God is not something we do and stop, it is something we do daily (Luke 9:62). So to become Christ disciples we must be ready to follow Him faithfully to the end.
