Job 11:7-9
[7]Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
[8]It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
[9]The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
MEMORY VERSE: Ephesians 4:6 “One God and father of all who is over all and through all and in all”
INTRODUCTION: Our knowledge of God is based on the revelation of Himself in the Bible. God the father is the eternal head of the trinity. We will learn more of God by His attributes (character)
LESSON AIM: God the father is the eternal head.

A. The attributes (Character of God)
i. God is the creator- Genesis 1:1; Neh 9:6
ii. God is holy – Isaiah 6:3, Psalm 99:6
iii. God is love – John 3:16, 1 John 4:7-8, Deu. 33:27
iv. God is eternal (No beginning no end) Psalm 90:2
v. Omniscient (All knowing) Isaiah 40:28, Psalm 40:28
vi. Omnipresent (He see all) Psalm 139:7 – 12, Prov 15:3
vii. Omnipotent (All powerful) Job 5:9 Luke 1:37
viii. Omnisapient (Owner of wisdom and understanding) Job 12:13, Psalm 104:24
ix. He is sovereign (Rule over all ) Psalm 93:1; Exodus 15:11
x. He is faithful (Keep His word) Luke 3:32; 1 Corinthians 10:13
xi. He is merciful- Deut 4:31, Psalm 130:3
xii He is just – Eccl 12:14, Psalm 103:6
xiii. He is gracious – (Compassionate and slow to anger ) Psalm 103:8
xiv. He is forgiving Psalm 103:9-12
xv. He is majestic – (Awesome, Wonderful, Excellent) Psalm 29:24, Isaiah 24:14
xvi. God is spirit – John 4:24, 2 Cor 3:17
xvii. God in invisible – Exodus 33:2/1 Tim 1:17
xviii. God is unsearchable – Job 11:7, Eccl 3:11
B. What should be your attitude to God?
i. Deut 10:12 – fear the Lord your God (reference).
ii. Joshua 24-14-serve Him is sincerity and truth.
iii. Eccl 12:13- keep His commandment.
iv. Isaiah 8:13
v. Peter 1:17
vi. 2 peter 2:17

CONCLUSION: God is the Lord over all. Ephesians 4:6 One God and father of all, who is over all, through all and in all.
CHALLENGE: Who is God to you? Mention 5 revelation of God to you or five of His attributes you love most. He wants to dwell in you and reflect His character in you, will you allow him?
INVITATION: Have you accepted God’s greatest gift of salvation? Receive Jesus Christ today and be saved. John 1:12.
