Thy friend friendship suits me well,
Both young and will sing Thy song,
We long for Sunday School.
3. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,

The Holy Spirit, great teacher,
Does manifest in thee.

This testimony is sure,
That God, the Father Almighty,
Poured His blessing on Thee

Though the sun be so bright,

[14]And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
[15]For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
[16]And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
[17]Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

1. LAND
A. Description
<l[if lsupportLists]->i. <l-[endif]- >In a literal sense, land is regarded as soil.
<!-[if IsupportLists]–>ii. <l-[endif]- >However, in economics, land refers to a natural resource that can be utilised to produce income.
<-[if IsupportLists]->iii. <!-[endif]- >Land is a useful factor of production, but is available in limited quantity.
B. God owns all lands as well as the materials and the forces which nature gives freely for man’s aid, in land, water, air, light and heat (Ps. 24:1; Ex. 9:29; 1 Cor. 10:26).
C. God gave man the land to explore and possess (Gen.13:14-17; Ps.115:16).
D. It is important for believers to:
<ļ-[if !supportLists]–>i. <l-[endif]- >Ask God for
the appropriate location to dwell or do business (Gen.2:15: 12:1; 26:2,12).
<-[if IsupportLists]->ii. <!-[endif]- >Put land into profitable use (Prov.12:11).
<!-[if IsupportLists]->iii. <-[endif]- >Appreciate God for making the land fruitful (Ps.67:5-6; Lk.12:16-21).
<-[if !supportLists]->iv. <!-[endif]- >Understand that no land is barren; every land is created for a purpose (mining, agriculture, tourism, and so
on).
<-[if lsupportLists]->v. <!-[endif]- >Know however, that we only have people who are barren in ideas on how to maximise the use of the land (2 Kgs.2:21).
LABOUR
A. Description
<-[if IsupportLists]->i. <-[endif] >Labour constitutes one of the important factors of production.
<l-[if lsupportLists]->ii. <l-[endif]- >This factor involves human services and efforts for the production of goods or services.

B. God wants man to work (Gen. 2:15; Eccl.9:10; 1 Thess, 4:11).
C. The benefits are:
<!-[if !supportLists]->i. <!-[endif]- >God promises sweet sleep and rest for a labouring believer (Ex.20:9; Eccl.5:12; Matt.11:28).
<ļ-[if IsupportLists]–>ii. <-[endif]- >In all labour, there is profit (Prov.13:11; Prov.14:23; Eph.4:28).
<!-[if IsupportLists]->iii. <!-[endif]- >The labour of the righteous adds value to lives (Prov. 10:16).
<-[if IsupportLists]->iv. <l-[endif]- >The Bible says that there shall be no labour loss (Isa.62:8).
<!–[if IsupportLists]->v. <4-[endif]- >When we plant we shall eat of the fruit thereof, when we build, we shall inhabit (Ps.128:2; Isa. 65:21-23).
D. Believers must not rule out God in their endeavours because only God can crown their labour with success (Ps.127:1).
E. Above all, believers should labour to inherit the kingdom of God (John.6:27).
RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ MANUAL SUNDAY 20TH OF FEBRUARY, 2022 LESSON TWENTY-FIVE (25)

but he that gathereth by labour shall increase”. Class should mention ways people gather wealth by vanities.

A. Description: In this context, capital refers to money used for income creation purposes.
B. God owns the gold, silver and every resource that can be converted to money (Hag. 2:8; Ps.50:10).
C. Money is good, the Bible says money answers all things (Eccl.10:19) and it is a defence (Eccl.7:12). However:
<-[if lsupportLists]->i. <l-[endif]- >Believers should guide against excessive pursuit of money (Prov.13:11; 22:1; 1 Tim.6:10).
<ļ-[if IsupportLists]->ii. <!-[endif]- >Money should not be spent anyhow, it should be planned (Luke 14:28-30).
<!-[if !supportLists]->iii. <!-[endif]- >In kingdom economics, believers should put God first (Matt.6:33) in their daily pursuit for money and learn to acquire money legitimately and not at
all cost.
<!-if IsupportLists]->iv. <-[endif]- >Believers must remember that they cannot serve God and mammon (Matt.6:24).

<t-[if IsupportLists]->iii. <-lendifl->An entrepreneur needs to be focused on adapting himself/herself according to the changes taking place in the national economy, industries, and markets (Acts 16:14a).
