OPENING PRAYER
Father of all fathers, the One who is seated in Heaven above all the other gods. Recieve our Praise and Worship, in Jesus’ Name.
Recieve all Glory, receive all Honour, receive all Adoration. May Your Name for ever be Glorified.
We Thank You very much for all Your Workers and Ministers especially in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Those who are here and those who for one reason or the other cannot make it, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC. Please Lord, lay Your Mighty Hands on them all.
Prove Yourself Mighty in their lives.
Let the world know that You are their Father and let it be well with them.
And Lord God Almighty, help everyone of them to reach their Goal.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Let all Workers shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: I welcome you Worker is the Vineyard of God.
And then you may Please, be seated.
You are all welcome, in Jesus’ Name.

Glory be to God – Hallelujah.
Matthew 20: 25-28:
25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the Princes of the Gentiles exercise Dominion over them, and they that are Great Exercise Authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be Great among you, let him be your Minister;
27 And whosoever will be Chief among you, let him be your Servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be Ministered unto, but to Minister, and to give his Life a ransom for many.
We are talking about, “PROMOTED FOR A PURPOSE”.
Ezekiel 36: 24-28
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all Countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A New Heart also will I give you, and a New Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony Heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an Heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my Statutes, and ye shall keep my Judgments, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my People, and I will be your God.
Many atimes those of us who are Workers in the Church just want Promotion – We don’t know how highly God has already Promoted us.
1. He started by say, “I will Select you from amongst the People”.
Don’t you ever think that you are saved because you want to be saved.
Remember Jesus said, “Nobody can come unto me except my Father draws him or her”.
… You know that’s in the Bible, right? – Yes Sir!
God has to grab you and bring you to Jesus Christ.
Oh! Several People have been hearing the Gospel again and again; and they are not yet saved.
Why? God is yet to grab and bring them to the Cross.
You may not believe this: A boy lived in my home for more than twenty (20) years, yet was not saved! He came in as a house help, continued to grow. Little by little he entered the University, graduated, became an Accountant and got employed by the Church.
Only for us to discovered that a Boy living in the house of the General Overseer, where you could hear at least one (1) Sermon a day (by 6am) was not saved.
All those years, do you know he was steadily Worshipping Ifa?
DMC NOTES: The word Ifa refers to the mystical figure Ifa or Orunmila, regarded by the Yoruba as the deity of Wisdom and Intellectual Development.
When we finally discovered him, he was deep in the Worship of Ifa.
A rock can be inside a river for a hundred years; if you bring the rock the inside would be dry.
Am I lying? No Sir!
This is why we say, when you come to give your Testimony, the first thing you should say is: “I Thank God for the Salvation of my Soul”.
That’s a great thing!
Can somebody say: Thank You for saving me Lord.
He said, the first thing I will do is gather the heathen from among you.
2. And then shall I Sprinkle Clean Water on you.
That ‘Clean water’ is the Blood of Jesus that Cleanses from all sin, and wash you Clean.
… And then He said, I would go further after that;
3. I would take the Stony heart out of them.
We call it Sanctification:
Because the Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9 that, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Desperately wicked means, “unless I do wickedness I cannot rest”.
And God says, there is no way you can do My Will unless I do something about that Heart – Change the Heart to a Heart of flesh.
So, from Selection to Salvation, to what we call Sanctification – Then lastly:
4. I will put My Spirit within you – Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Workers, you’ve come a long way – From being out there in the world to being Selected, to being Saved, to being Sanctified, to being Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
And now you are Promoted for a Purpose: You are a Worker – Hallelujah!
You have been selected to serve – Congratulations!
Let every Worker shout Praise the Lord!
The Question then is: FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
Because we meet like this once a year – Many of you come from afar, and we want to close on time so you can go back. The days are evil, you don’t have to travel at night.
We speak to you briefly, as you go the Holy Spirit begins to interpret His Word to you.
Every man who has ever become Great started as a Worker – As a Servant to Someone.
I. Take MOSES:
Moses became one of the Greatest Men who ever lived.
He is recognized in three (3) Major Religions of the world – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
– Among the Jews he is known as a Great Prophet, and a Great Deliverer.
– In Christianity we know him very well – And the Almighty God Himself said Moses is a Prophet He spoke with one on one.
– And the Islams call him ‘Anabi Isha’ (Meaning Prophet Moses).
But he was a Servant to Jethro.
Exodus 3:1 says, Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the Priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the Desert, and came to the Mountain of God, even to Horeb.
Moses was a Worker under Jethro – He was looking after the latter’s flock.
II. What about JOSHUA?
Joshua was a Minister of Moses.
Joshua 1:1 – Now after the death of Moses the Servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ Minister, saying,
And I think I have explained to you before – A Minister is the one who looks after everything; including taking care of the toilet activities.
That’s a Minister (in those days). Not like the ones we have now..The dirtiest job is done by a Minister.
Joshua was a Minister of Moses – He never ever knew he could become a Leader of a Nation.
So, when God called him and said, “hey Boy! You are Succeeding Moses” – the Boy nearly fainted with fright.
God had to say to him three (3) times “be strong and of a Good Courage.”
Joshua 1:4-5. Do you ask a Messenger to become President: Particularly when he is to Succeed his Master?
Joshua never thought he would be anything rather than a Worker; but he became President.
You don’t know where God is taking you to – You have no idea.
When I joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), if anybody had told me when I became a Worker that I may end up becoming a Pastor (not General Overseer) – Pastor: I would have rejected it immediately.
Before I joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); I thought I had overcome Poverty because I was already a Lecturer.
And as a Lecturer (at least in those days) you can say bye bye to Poverty. Because you now have a flat to live in, you have a car – even though you borrowed the money to buy it. You can take care of a wife, your children can go to Staff School. Your future was secured.
And if you do what you are supposed to do, you will continue to be Promoted. And you might end up becoming a Vice Chancellor.
And I am telling you, in my own days, the Vice Chancellor is almost like a semi-god because in those days the Universities were less than ten (10).
So, if someone had told me that I would become a Pastor, I would have argued with the fellow.
The first month I took over as the General Overseer, the whole Income of the Church was less than my Monthly Salary – “if I can’t go forward I can go back.”
But here I am today, to the Glory of God – Hallelujah!
I didn’t know where God was taking us to; but in those days, when the Pastors came for Annual Thanksgiving my wife and I would think of things to give to them – Sugar, bournvita, etc.
Your future will be Glorious – Amen.
III. The man DAVID:
David was a Choir Leader in the house of Saul – You know the Story.
Whenever King Saul was troubled by an evil spirit, David would sing and the Demon would go out (1 Samuel 16:3-end).
Which is why I Pray for the Choir: beginning from now, when you are Singing, Demons will go out – Amen.
IV. ELISHA:
He was not just a Servant of Elijah, he was a Servant Extraordinary.
2 Kings 3:11 says, But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a Prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel’s servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which Poured water on the hands of Elijah.
He wasn’t just Preparing food for his Master, put the water and say “Oga, go and wash your hand.” He was Pouring water on the hands of Elijah.
At the time he was doing that, he never thought a King will one day call him Daddy. He knew his Master (Elijah) was number one enemy of the King.
Because he heard each time the King would said, “you are the one troubling Israel.” But Elijah would reply, it is you and your father’s house. I like Elijah, he was a Man on Fire.
1 Kings 21:19-20 says: And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken Possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the Place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine. And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.
Elisha knew the relationship between his Master (Elijah) and Kings. So, he never thought a King would one day call him Daddy.
You don’t know where God is taking you to as a Worker – He can and He will take you very far – Amen.
IV. PHILIP:
Philip was one of the Deacons in Acts 6. He was a Worker – serving tables.
And he never thought that a whole City could be blessed through him.
Acts 8:5-8 Then Philip went down to the City of Samaria, and Preached Christ unto them. For Unclean Spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were Possessed with them: and many taken with Palsies, and that were Lame, were healed. And there was Great Joy in that City.
Because of a Worker (Philip); Demons were jumping out.
And later on Philip became the one through which the Gospel came to Africa – “The Patriarch of the Saints of Africa”.
I decree that through you, the Word of God would be heard in your Town, City and Village – Amen.
… Because He has Promoted you for a Purpose.
PRAYER
For the next five (5) Minutes or so, I want you to know that there is a lot of Power in your mouth – It has nothing to do with Titles: Pastor or General Overseer.
Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and Life are in the Power of the tongue: and they that Love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
It was the Power in the Life of Philip that brought Miracles to the City of Samaria.
Mark 16:17 says, And these Signs shall follow them that believe; In my Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with New tongues – You just Command!
Mark 11:23 says, For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this Mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his Heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
As a Worker you have been Promoted to make decrees – So, go ahead!
Thank you Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

You have heard the Testimony:
I went to Lokoja (Capacity City of Kogi State Nigeria). There was no pipe bore water, you have to dig well to get water.
As I was entering the Town, in the Center was a huge tree, (in the Middle of the road) like a round about. To me it was odd. “What is a tree doing in the Middle of the town?” They said it was a scared tree. I said, okay we shall see!
We held a Rally in the Morning, returned to have the Crusade in the Evening.
There was Storm and by the following day the tree had fallen – Hallelujah.
I decree right now, every evil tree in your Town shall be Uprooted – Amen.
Matthew 15:13 says, But he answered and said, Every Plant, which my Heavenly Father hath not Planted, shall be rooted up.
You can do the same – Remember, God has Promoted you thus far.
Luke 4:18 says: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to Preach the Gospel to the Poor; he hath sent me to heal the Brokenhearted, to Preach Deliverance to the Captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
All that is required is to be Faithful over a little;
Be Faithful to your Pastors, Superiors – because you don’t know where God is taking you to.
He has made you a Worker, but you can lift up the hands of your Leaders. So that when you need Help God will answer your cry for Help.
I always Pray for all those who are lifting up my Hands: As I grow, you will grow too – Amen.
I was a Worker, I never wanted to be a Pastor, but see how far the Lord has brought us today.
When you are Promoted to a Place; whether you like it or not, you are there to support your Superiors, as they are the ones to teach you all you will need in your next Phase.
Because, whether you know it or not, it is in the Process of working with them that you learn what to do when God has made you Great.
David was a Shepherd Boy, taking care of Goats and Sheep. God knew he needed to learn how to behave when he eventually become King. God brought him to the Palace to sing – To learn Palace Etiquettes.
Take for Example somebody like me, I don’t know anything about Protocol – How to Greet Dignitaries, I don’t know it.
I was born in the bush, lived in the Village, attended Secondary School in a big Village; went to the University of Nigeria in Nsuka Village, left the University to work in a Village – I didn’t know how to behave.
That’s why when I find myself being in the midst Dignitaries – After I have greeted His Excellency (The Governor or President), I ask for Permission to address every other Persons as Brother and Sister. Because I don’t know who to call first, second, and so on.
God brought David to the Palace to learn how he would behave when he becomes King.
You are a Worker in that Parish now – To learn what to do when God takes you to a Higher Level.
I have only one Request to make of you today: Please, remain Faithful, because not all Workers ended well.
Gehazi was a Worker under Elisha.
He would have become one of the Greatest Prophets with a Double Portion’ – Four (4) times the Spirit of Elijah, but he ended up a Leper.
God has a Purpose for your Life.
I want you to Stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say Father, Please don’t let me fail You.
Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Holy Name. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Daddy Thank You!
Now, concerning the Ministers, I have told you this Story before: I laid hands on the sick, two (2) Sisters came with a bowl of water and a towel. The two (2) of them looked Ordinary but one of them was thirsty for the Anointing.
Matthew 5:6 says, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after Righteousness: for they shall be filled.
As I dipped my hands inside the bowl, suddenly I felt the Anointing flowing to the container the sister was holding – Like Divine Electricity.
When you come in contact with e
Electricity it will shake you a little.
The Sister was shaking so violently, somebody had to grab the container.
Now, the fellow who took the container didn’t feel the Anointing because she was not thirsty.
If I shake your hand and you are expecting a Greeting, you’ll get only Greeting. And if you are expecting Anointing, that’s what you will get.
One day one of my friends, a Senior Pastor visited me with his driver. I shook hands with the driver, and he began to shake saying: “Thank You Jesus!” Shouting and vibrating as he went to the car.
When his Oga asked, “what’s wrong with you?” He said, “I shook Daddy G.O’s hand.” – The Oga has been shaking my hand all these years!
I am going to do something this morning – I am going to release the Anointing of God upon this Altar. And I am going to ask you to come and Touch the Altar before you go.
Touch with Faith, and you will Testify – Amen.
After you touch, don’t sleep or stay too long there.
Before you go, drop your Thanksgiving Offering.
CLOSING PRAYER
In the Name of the One Who called me – The God of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), you will not go back the way you came.
In the Name of the One who made Heaven and Earth, the Almighty God Himself, the Anointing of God in my Life will flow through me to you.
My Father and my God, I Pray that as Your Anointing flow, it will destroy yokes in the lives of Your Children.
It will roast every Demons in their lives.
Father, Uproot whatever You have not Planted in their lives.
Make their Joy to be full.
I decree:
Yoke of Stagnant be destroyed.
Yoke of Barrenness be destroyed.
Yoke of Poverty be destroyed.
Yoke of Laziness be destroyed.
Make Your Children to become Powerful.
Make them Mighty Vessels in your Vineyard.
And that very soon, you will give them Mighty Testimonies.
As they go, Father Please go with them.
Whatever the Thanksgiving Offering they give this Morning, Father within a Month let them receive a Thousand fold.
And in Your Kingdom, may None of us be missing.
Thank You my Father.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name I have Prayed – Amen.
In an orderly fashion, you will come – Touch the Altar; drop your Thanksgiving Offering and go home.
