INTRODUCTION
Sexual intimacy means a married couple (man and woman) share a special bond characterised by a shared sensual expression. They understand each other on a sexual level that has emotion behind it, instead of just being a physical act. Sexual intimacy generates pleasure and mutual satisfaction. It is an obligatory act in marriage. It is a complex expression of love and a desire to communicate such love non-verbally. It gives the husband and wife a chance to express all the good feelings and thoughts they have towards each other.
TEXT REVIEW: PROVERBS 5:15-20
The book of proverbs 5:5-20 discussed mainly sexual intimacy and integrity.
Identify five phrases in the text that expressed either or both sexual intimacy and integrity. E.g.

SOME FACTS ABOUT SEXUAL INTIMACY IN MARRIAGE
Teacher should use questions and answers approach to determine the level of knowledge of the students at the same time establish the fact about sexual intimacy.
Question:
Is sex in marriage wrong or dirty?
Answer:
No because God established it. (1Corinthains 7:2-5)
Question:
Why does God establish sex in marriage
Answer:
i. For mutual pleasure (Genesis 2:24-25)
ii. For procreation (Genesis 1:28).
Question:
Under what condition is sexual intimacy allowed by God?
Answer:
In marriage (Genesis 4;1).
Question:
What role does satisfactory sexual intimacy provide in marriage?
Answer:
i. It develops deep physical, psychological and emotional relationship ( Proverbs 5:15-20).
ii. It provides opportunity for care and mutual demonstration of love. (Song of Solomon 4:1-7).
Question:
What is the duration of marital relationship?
Answer:
It is life-long for married couples( Matthew 19:4-9).

What sort of pleasure could both husband and wife derive from sexual intimacy?

BENEFITS OF SEXUAL INTIMACY IN MARRIAGE
To save time, teacher should reel out the tri-podal benefits of sex in marriage as presented in the table below. However, student’s knowledge should still be tested.
HUSBAND:
I. Reduces the risk of developing prostate.
ii. Reduces waist and scrotal pain.
iii. Increases sperm counts.
iv. Improves cardiovascular health.
v. Increases immunity and body fitness.
vi. Increases levels of testosterone.
vii. Promotes long life.
WIFE:
I. Improves bladder control.
ii. Relieves menstrual and pre-menstrual cramps.
iii. Improves fertility.
iv. Builds stronger pelvic muscles.
v. Helps produces more vagina lubrications.
vi. Potentially protects against endometriosis (the growth of tissue outside uterus).
vii. Improves the production of the hormone oestrogen which protects against heart disease and also determines a woman’s body scent.
